MIND EATER

Mind Eater is an Oslo-based, artist-run, parasite festival  largely dedicated to emerging artists, critical thinkers and performative practices. The festival features a two-part program: A public performance program comprising interdisciplinary artists working across performative formats, and a discursive program including lectures, workshops, and screenings by theorists, critics, and artists. Each August, Mind Eater inhabits shifting venues across Oslo over the course of four days.

Founded in 2024 by Runa Borch Skolseg and Louis Schou-Hansen, Mind Eater emerged as a reaction against the generic programming and treatment of performance by  often large-scale institutions, as well as the populist waves that have rushed over our field in recent years.
